Rhythm

NOUN

1. movement, fluctuation, or variation marked by the regular recurrence or natural flow of related elements

Everything has a resonance. All things pulse at a specific frequency. When our vision is aligned, our intentions clear, our mind at peace with the natural unfolding of our lives, we are tuned into the rhythm that emanates from within us. When we feel unlike ourselves, a little off track, things are not going smoothly or seamlessly, there is too much exertion of effort and/or people are not understanding us… sometimes this is a reflection of being out of sync, off-beat with our true rhythm. And everyone has a certain beat, a certain pulse to their life. So the question remains, are we familiar with the rhythm of our life? Do we notice when we are in tune? And if we are not, how can we join back into the harmonious symphony that our lives can become? Only you have the answer but powerful ways of tapping in are silence, reflection, nature, journaling and of course yoga =). As you move throughout this week, I encourage you to reflect on the patterns happening in your life. Do they create harmony or disharmony? Clarity or illusion? Peace or frustration? Also below is a daily journaling prompt to compliment this reflection.

With love,

Sarah
